Michelle Merring

Michelle plays Viola (a recurring character) on General Hospital and was most recently seen in the film Conversations with God directed by Stephen Simon, based on the books by the same title! She has also been on Hanna Montana, Medical Investigation, Strong Medicine, Bold and the Beautiful, The Girls Next Door, the suspense short Water Falls. Her LA Theater credits include: Queen Fand in The Faery Hunt, the longest running children’s show in LA, Miss Nanalu Branch in the Award winning Bluebonnet Court at the Hudson Theater, Aphrodite in the premier LA theatrical production of Carpe Dream at the Theatre District, the lead role of Murray in LAME: the Musical at The Stages Theater and the musical Once Upon a Primetime at the Powerhouse Theater in Santa Monica.

A New York City native, she has performed the lead in various off–Broadway productions including Spiritwoman at the Harold Clurman Theatre, Down Home Sausage Meat with the Negro Ensemble Company and Space Trek: A Musical Parody at the Chelsea Playhouse (a really BAD play, but where she met and fell in love with her wonderful husband Jason).

Michelle’s biggest accomplishment was giving birth to two incredibly breathtaking children! Between diapers, play dates, homeschooling, cooking, sewing and lion taming, she still finds time to kiss her wonderful husband Jason!
